💩 Blocks Waste Splash Back – The CatGenie’s impeller grinds waste aggressively, causing waste to bounce around like popcorn inside the waste container. This process creates splashback of liquid and solid waste, which can release odors into the air and cause a huge mess to clean inside the hopper. The Smell Shield Splash Guard is designed to contain that splashback, preventing waste particles from climbing up the neck of the hopper.

💨 Reduces Airborne Waste Particles – On a stock CatGenie, microscopic waste particles escape through the large hopper opening and diffuse into the air. Unless you have a high-powered fan constantly circulating air, this smell can linger for 20+ minutes after the cleaning cycle. The Smell Shield Splash Guard reduces odor by making the waste basket entrance smaller, forcing waste particles to hit the angled entrance or the rear of the guard, blocking them from escaping into the air you breathe!
